Furry Paws Studio is led by Brooke Fingerhut, who attended two classical art ateliers, emphasizing Renaissance and Old Master painting techniques. She studied photography, video, and graphic design at SVA, with BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She blends traditional artistry with modern sensibilities.

After rescuing her second chihuahua, Fingerhut fell in love with capturing her dog’s quirky personality in paint, and a love of pet portraiture was born.
